Today: Semi-finals WomenAPR vs RwamaganaRRA vs RuhangoMenAPR vs KVCUNR vs INATEKAfter winning the national league, APR Women Volleyball Club coach Viateur Sibomana wants to add the Malaria Cup on the league title.APR go head to head with Rwamagana Volleyball Club in today’s semi final of the inaugural Malaria tournament in Ngoma District.According to coach Sibomana, the preparations have been going well and he is optimistic his side can win the tournament.“My target is to win every game, and we are going into today’s match with ambition of reaching finals, and the only way to achieve that is by preparing well, which what we’ve done. I hope we win this tournament,” he said.The former Blue Tigers player added, “We want to win the tournament and we have put ourselves in a good position to achieve that.”The APR trainer is keen to add the Malaria Cup to the league title. The tournament which is being organised to fight malaria in the country is sponsored by Imbuto Foundation.In men’s category, National University of Rwanda plays against Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education of Kibungo (INATEK) in the men’s semi-finals while other semi-final pits together archrivals APR and KVC.Imbuto Foundation has pumped Rwf17m. The phases of group stages were held in Nyanza, Bugesera and Rubavu. Today’s semi final held in Ngoma and the finals will be played in Gasabo District next week.
