Sinicropi (Ita) 6-4, 6-4Austria’s Gerald Melzer and Egyptian Sherif Sabry will meet in today’s final of the third leg of ITF F2 Futures at Circle Sportif de Kigali courts.22-year old Gerald reached the final after beating Lukas Jastraunig in straight sets 6-4,7-6, while Sabry overcame Italian Melzer Riccardo Sinicropi 6-4,6-4 in semi finals played yesterday.In the quarter finals, Melzer Gerald beat Munoz-Abreu Jordi, 6-3, 7-5 while Jastraunig beat Petrone 6-3 6-2. In other quarter finals, Sinicropi beat Igoshin Alexander 6-4, 1-0 while Khaddari Hicham was beaten by Sabry in three sets 1-6 6-2, 6-2.Rwandans suffered an early exit. Jean Claude Gasingwa lost to German Manner Oskar 6-3, 6-4, while Dieudone Habiyambere was beaten 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 by Uganda’s Olinga David.Another Rwandan Mubarak Harerimana was brushed aside by Russian Igoshin Alexander 6-0, 6-0. Gasigwa also lost in the first round in first leg played in Bujumbura three weeks ago before reaching the second round in second leg last week in Kigali.
