Editor,I do not agree with the statement about entrepreneurs lacking the right attitude and blaming lack of financing. Instead of listening to so called experts from abroad, we the struggling entrepreneurs on the ground should be consulted. For my case, I had won a big contract from one of the telecom companies to provide services of which my bank of many years declined to advance me funds so as to allow me operate before payments were made to me ( a period of one to two months). How will one be able to move forward with such obstacles? I managed because I was assisted by my partner; but what about those who do not have people to help them? Banks always want to see mortgages etc. Marian Mbabazi, Kigali(Response to a story ‘Experts challenge entrepreneurs on mindset’ published, November, 12)
