Editor,Our scholars are good when analysing the deep-seated causes and the current obstacles that constrain our progress. But instead of telling us what we already know, they should tell us - nay, show us, how to get on with the business of pulling ourselves out of the mire onto the development escalator. Stop being theoretical, be practical and demonstrate how your expensive education has added real value to our economies and general well-being instead. And as all the commentators above have urged, stop blaming the colonialists.
