Rwandan music star, Juno Kizigenza has finally dropped his debut album, ‘Yaraje.’ The much-anticipated album features most of Rwanda’s modern music legends like Riderman, King James, BullDogg, Knowless Butera and Bruce Melodie. The singer worked with almost all Rwandan biggest music producers on this album including Elements Eleéeh, Clement Ishimwe, Prince Kiiz, X oN tHe BeAt, Santana Sauce, Madebeats, Kozze, Knox on the Beat, Niz Beat and Bob Pro who mixed and mastered most of the tracks on the tape, Kizigenza also featured Kenny Sol and legendary showbiz journalist Ally Soud, among others. Speaking to The New Times, earlier this month Juno Kizigenza said that ‘Yaraje’ shows what he has been through and what he achieved in his professional music career, which began three years ago. READ ALSO: Juno Kizigenza announces release date for debut album ‘Yaraje’ “I had been working on ‘Yaraje’ for over a year, trying to sculpt the perfect album, writing and recording tens of songs with a clear vision of what I thought it should be... this album describes my journey as a little kid up to the current Kizigenza,” the singer said. “Growing up, I listened to sports shows and showbiz programs on the radio. It was just a hobby at the time but now I realise how positive they affected me. My upcoming album will explain it all but I’m really excited to celebrate my little achievements with fans who never hesitated supporting me since day one. Kizigenza’s album track-list is composed of 11 singles and six collaborations with top local artistes. He recorded ‘Umusore’ with Ally Soud, ‘Umugisha’ ft Knowless Butera, ‘You’ ft King James, ‘Overdose’ ft BullDogg, ‘My Wife’ ft Riderman and ‘Igitangaza’ featuring Bruce Melodie and Kenny Sol. Kizigenza joined the music industry in 2020, when he started his career with Igitangaza Music label owned by Rwandan afro-beat superstar Bruce Melodie. He released his first and breakthrough single, ‘Mpa Formula’ and since then, he has cemented his name among the top musicians in Rwanda, with many hit songs to his name. Kizigenza is currently an independent artist after parting ways with Igitangaza Music Label in 2021.
