After four years of uncertainty, promising right attacker Flavien Ndamukunda is set to undergo surgery in Europe.Ndamukunda broke his right arm in August 2008 while playing for APR Volleyball Club in the last league game against Kigali Volleyball Club. The match ended 3-2 in fever of APR.But four years of agony and not knowing what his future holds, Ndamukunda confirmed to Times Sport on Thursday that the Ministry of Sports and Culture has agreed to foot his bills so that he can undergo surgery in Europe. He, however, didn’t say which country.Since sustaining the horror injury, Ndamukunda has not been the same player he was before the injury but is still hopeful for a full recovery.Before the break, Ndamukunda was one of the top players in Rwanda between 2007 and 2008 and he wants to return to his best after the operation.He started his carrier in Petit Seminaire de Karubanda, went to Groupe Scolaire de Butare before joining APR in 2007. He jointed in 2010 annd last year he was played professionally for Algerian league Al Milia with along with compatriot Marshal Pierre Kwizera.
