Egypt national coach Bob Bradley has agreed not to use Ahly’s international players in a friendly match against Georgia to avoid injuries that could prevent them from facing Tunisia’s Esperance next month.The team’s football director, Sayed Abdel-Hafiz, had asked national coach Bradley to not include the players in Georgia’s match on Nov. 14, according to Ahram Online.The Pharaohs’ assistant coach Dia’a El-Sayed was quoted by the sports website filgoal.com as saying, “We always consider the position of Egyptian clubs in African competitions.”The Reds are scheduled to face the Tunisian side Esperance in the second leg of the final round of the CAF Champions League on Nov. 17, three days after the Georgia friendly, Aharm Online reported.The six-time African champions Ahly will be hosting the Tunisian giants on Nov. 4 in the first leg of the African Champions League final at Alexandria’s Borg Al-Arab Stadium.Title-holders Esperance secured their place in the final after eliminating formidable Congolese side Mazembe.
