Editor,I wish to respond to the story published in The New Times, October, 22, under the headline, ‘MPs call for protection of sex workers’. I am very impressed with this call from our representatives. Laws can be reviewed any time and the fact that the Penal Code was enacted recently should not act as a barrier to its revision to ensure a comprehensive response to HIV/Aids and protect our people. I believe discussions should continue as we keep striving for a healthy society!
