Former Rayon Sports President Chance Denys Gacinya is back in the race for the second vice president post during the forthcoming Ferwafa elections slated for June 24. Gacinya was among aspirants whose nominations were in the first place snubbed by the Football governing body’s electoral commission because his file did not fulfil the requirements needed to run for the Vice president position. He was, however, given green light to rejoin the race for the position after he filed an appeal against his nomination rejection which the appeal commission found valid. Gacinya, a local businessman, is not new in football administration, having previously served as Rayon Sports President between 2014 and 2017 before he passed the baton to then successor Paul Muvunyi. He has also been part of the club’s vice-president in 2017. JUST IN: Chance Denys Gacinya has been given green light to run in Ferwafa elections.
