After a very solid week we are happy to introduce you to a host of exciting events taking place throughout the country this weekend Explosion Concert @ NUROver the years, students at the National University of Rwanda (NUR) have not only worked hard but also partied hard.Tonight, October 19, an array of local musicians is heading to the Southern Province, with a mission to entertain the students.The artistes include Urban Boyz, Jay Polly and Riderman, Kamichi, Paccy, Young Grace, Uncle Austin and Queen Cha, among others.The show starts at 6p.m. The entrance fee is Rwf1000 (ordinary section) and Rwf2000 (VIP seats).After the performance at the university’s auditorium, all roads will lead to Club Universitaire for the After Party that will go until dawn. Rage Hip-Hop @ KimisagaraIt may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but Hip-hop music is quite the special brew when it’s served up by seasoned artistes.Today, if you’re a fan of Hip-hop music or simply want to give it a try, the good news is that our artistes are back on the road and ready to give you what you crave. Every Friday, the Institut Français du Rwanda, organises ‘Rage’, a Hip-hop dance show that is hosted by a dance company called ‘Revolution’ at Kimisagara Youth Centre in Kigali. Everyone is invited and it’s free entrance. Performances begin at 7 p.m. Beer Festival @ Expo GroundsYes, it’s October and the Beer Festival is here.
