The youth talk about Agaciro

Students of Green Hills Academy engaged in activities that helped them contribute towards the recently launched national solidarity fund– The Agaciro Development Fund. Pelagie N. Mbabazi spoke to some of the students about the Fund and it’s significance: “Age should not be a factor when working towards the development of your country. When I found out that our teachers are contributing to the Agaciro Development fund, I took the initiative to encourage other students to do so as well and it’s been a success.” Ian Manzi, 16, G.11“I am proud to be Rwandan and greatly determined to help my country. Agaciro gave us all the chance to make Rwanda an even better place.” Sheila Kagaju, 14, G. 10 “Some students weren’t aware of the Agaciro Development Fund but after talking to them, they contributed and this is what Rwanda needs – participation from every citizen.”Nelson Ndahiro, 16, G.11“I participated in making cakes that were sold to students.
