AMAVUBI Stars skipper Olivier Karekezi has stated that he is ready for a new challenge with his new Tunisia Premier League club Bizerte FC.Former APR star Karekezi, 29, sealed a two-year deal with Bizerte FC for an undisclosed fee early this month.He told Times Sport yesterday, “I am happy to play in the Tunisian league which is among the leading leagues in Africa. It is a whole new challenge for me but I am focused and ready for it.”Bizerte FC will take part in next year’s CAF Orange Champions League, having finished second to Espérance de Tunis in the Tunisian league last season, and Karekezi is relinquishing the opportunity to compete in Africa’s biggest club competition with his new team.In Tunisia, Karekezi joins national team mate Meddie Kagere, who is plying his profession with Espérance Sportive de Zarzis for which he signed a two-year deal.
