The Associations of Microfinance Institutions in Rwanda (AMIR) has contributed over Rwf 100million towards the Agaciro development fund.The Chairman of AMIR Faustin Zihiga said the contribution was from their members a. “It would be meaningless for people to always depend on others. This is our country and the time to do our best to help develop it is now,” he said.The contribution was done in installments. Over 5million had been paid earlier and on Friday, they paid the rest.Faustin Byakunda, the Managing Director of Unguka and a representative of AMIR members, explained that it was the duty and responsibility of every Rwandan to participate in the development of the country.
