Kagame Cup draws still in balance
The long wait for this year’s Cecafa/Kagame Club championship draws will continue as the regional body has failed to come up with the exact date on which the draws will be held. According to the association’s secretary general Nicholas Musonye the draws were supposed to be held yesterday afternoon. However when contacted to reveal the draw to the press, the association’s spokesman Finny Keshi was ignorant about the draws being held on Saturday. When asked when the draws will take place, Keshi said that they are still waiting for a green light from the Cecafa president, who also doubles as the Tanzania Football Federation president, Leodegar Paul Chila Tenga.
MEN AT THE HELM: Leodgar Chilla Tenga (L), his predecessor Denis Obua (C) and Cecafa SG Nicholas Musonye share a light moment.
