ESPOIR FC have appointed veteran coach Hamiss Sogonya Kishi as their new head coach following their reinstatement to the top flight division.The Rusizi-based side was relegated last campaign after one season in the Primus National Football League but benefited from Nyanza’s withdrawal from the top division and took their place.The appointment of Sogonya, who was the coach of Etincelles FC last year before he was sacked due to the team’s poor results, is a statement for a club hoping to stay in the top flight league after next season. The former Kiyovu and Police FC coach has signed a two-year-deal. Espoir kick off the 2012/13 league season on September 22 against SC Kiyovu at Stade de Kigali.Meanwhile, three second division teams have officially changed their names, and the new names were approved by Ferwafa executive committee and the federation’s general assembly, which convened last Sunday.Pépinière has changed to Pépinière Kinyinya FC, Stella Maris is now Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle FC and Zèbres FC is now called Gicumbi Zèbres FC.
