Dear editor, For us who don’t drive our own cars we have to bear the agony of listening to the details of strangers private issues. Why don’t some people learn to talk in low tones when in a public vehicle? A lot of times I am caught up in incidences where some one gets a phone call in a taxi and instead of talking they start shouting. These people even go a head to tell the driver to lower the volume on the radio but they keep on shouting. I am not sure if it is to show off their phones or it’s just pure ignorance. They should know that not every one is interested in listening to their private businesses. Shouting in taxis is noise pollution and no one is amused by it. Those who are culprits in this should learn how to respect other people by speaking at a ‘low voice’. You will not lose a thing and being far does not mean you can not be heard. I am sure the person on the other side of the phone will be hearing clearly. Kigali
