This year’s national volleyball champion APR has gone four months without paying salaries for their players.The players, who preferred anonymity because they’re not supposed to take the issue to the media, said they have for long been claiming for the unpaid salaries for the last four months but all has been in vain.However, APR Volleyball club chairman, Jean Bosco Muyango when contacted said that the club only owes players salary for two months contrary to what players suggest.He said that the administration is aware of the unpaid arrears but added that the players were promised to be paid before the end of the current season.According to Muyango, the season has not yet ended because there’s still Carre d’As tournament due in October and closing ceremony of the league.APR will represent Rwanda in the 2013 edition of Africa Club Championship.
