Musanze District has pumped Rwf100m into Musanze Football Club for the upcoming football league season as the team seeks to be a permanent fixture in the top flight division.The club chairman, Emmanuel Rutaremara, who also the Musanze District Executive Secretary revealed that the club has a budget of Rwf120m and confirmed that the district has set aside Rwf100m to run the team for the next season. The remaining Rwf20m will come from fans and other sponsors. “We have quite a big budget to work with next season as we seek to build a strong team which will be able to compete at the highest level. We plan to sign the right players, who we think will not only keep us in this division but also make us competitive,” Rutaremara told Times Sport. Musanze won the second division league after beating AS Muhanga and both got promoted into the top flight.Next season, the league will have 14 teams, one more than last season and two more than the previous seasons. The 2012/2013 league season is scheduled to start on September 15.
