NEWCASTLE United have completed the signing of Holland international Vurnon Anita from Ajax. The 23-year-old, who was born in the Dutch Antilles, has spent his whole career with the Dutch giants - making his debut in 2005. Now after just over 100 appearances he is on the move having penned a five-year deal with Newcastle.Anita is best known as a central midfielder, but he can also play at full-back and will provide Alan Pardew with a number of useful options. “We are delighted to secure the services of Vurnon,” said Pardew.
