Editor,On Wednesday this week, regional leaders meeting in Kampala agreed to a neutral international force to be deployed in eastern DRC to help return the country’s eastern region to peace. It’s unfortunate for a country as huge and wealthy as DRC to find itself in such a situation. Much as it’s in order for the rest of the world, and particularly the region, to help find a lasting solution to the Congo problem, the Congolese people must themselves take the lead in addressing their issues. Examples of countries which worked so hard to solve their internal problems are in abundance and the Congolese may want to borrow lessons. Otherwise I wish them the best.Sandrine IshejaKigali
