Tuesday NBA Academy 84-64 Espoir NBA Academy on Tuesday, May 23, beat Espoir 84-64 in a warm-up game at Lycee de Kigali. The game hosted under the Program of BAL Elevate Showcase, is part of a series of activities happening on the sidelines of Basketball Africa League (BAL) season three playoffs. Karim Nesba’s boys won the first two quarters 20-15 and 25-16 to go into half-time leading 45-31. When the teams came back for the second half, NBA Academy maintained the lead, winning the third quarter 23-16. Espoir claimed the last quarter 17-16 but it was not enough to salvage the victory. They include one with Kigali Titans 67-58 and a commanding win against Tigers 68-50. NBA Academy is expected to play several other games before the BAL finals end on Saturday, May 27.
