Coca-Cola league Third phase Men’s final APR vs KVC - 4pm (Amahoro) APR expect a hard battle as they take on Kigali Volleyball Club in the third phase final of the revamped Coca-Cola Volleyball league today at Amahoro stadium indoor courts. The reigning champions, who are playing in their third successive phase final after winning the first two phases, were out of sorts over the weekend. After falling to KVC 1-2 earlier on in the preliminary stage, APR still looked weary by the time heavy downfall forced the final to be called off. At the time, KVC were leading by 2-1 (sets) although APR coach Jean Luc Ndayikengurukiye still believes that they had the fourth set well within their grip. “Three of our top players (Jean Luc Mbonyuwontuma, Lawrence Yakan and Marshal Kwizera) were struggling with injuries but we still had the fourth set in our control,” the former APR and national team captain stressed. “Of course KVC is a big side but we have prepared well for tomorrow’s game. I’m also hoping to have at least two of my top players ready for the final,” he continued. Ends
