When the four women leave their innocence behind, they barely knew that they were going to venture into a world that would unexpectedly change their destiny. Sidney Sheldon, the Academy Award-winning American author of The Sands of Time, died at the age of 89 on January 30, 2007. He is the seventh best selling writer of all time.
