Be strategic with your man

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about a year now and we have fun together. One thing that really gets on my nerves though is that he can’t make time for me. I work a very hectic job so I rarely get to see him during the week but on Friday we try and hang out. I just want to cozy up to him and watch a movie. He on the other hand, has other plans. He wants to be out in the streets with his boys. The few days he does take the time to sit around with me, he’s staring at the clock and fidgeting with his phone so I just tell him to leave, and instead of realising how upset I am, he goes out. Honestly, am I asking for too much? After a year I thought it would be out of his system but it’s not. I don’t how much more patient I can be with him to grow up and prioritize. Anyway I hope you can give me insight into how the male brain works, because I have no idea! NadiaDear Nadia,I can understand your frustrations. It’s never nice to see someone fidget, yearning to leave your presence. But you shouldnt take it personally. Even if you were Miss Universe, once your boyfriend started getting the ‘fidgets’, there wouldn’t be much to do. Instead of slamming your head against the wall, over and over again, here is my advice. Obviously, Friday is a day that he loves hanging out, so why don’t you change the hangout night?
