PRIMARY five pupil at Camp Kigali Arnold Shema is set to release his new single, “Limwe Kabiri”, before the end of this month.The song, to be produced by B.C.M.G studio, would appear on his second, 12-track album.“The single aims at inspiring the young generation to make sure they aim higher in whatever they do, especially in academics,” said the singer, who goes by his stage name Babu.He said that with the support from his manager and promoter, Peterson Jerome, the song will soon have an accompanying video.“As a kid and pupil, I don’t have the capacity to finance my career,” he said. “But my producer has been supportive in making me who I am today.” Speaking to The New Times, the promoter said that strict measures are in place to ensure that Babu’s music career does not affect his education performance.“I’m his promoter but also his uncle, therefore, I guide him the best way possible,” said Jerome. The upcoming young Hip-hop artiste, Babu started his music carrier in 2009, at the age of 8. He was introduced to fame by his 2010 track, “Ebikorwa”, and the same year he launched his debut album, “Umwana nimbuto”.
