The New Times’ Eddie Nsabimana had a chat with him and he shared his perfect weekend when he’s not behind the lens. My weekend starts on Saturdays. I am actually not used to Friday evenings and nights out. I am a Saturday guy. Most of my weeks are usually busy [with work] so I try to maximize one weekend when I don't have work. I mostly wake up in the morning and start working out. I do some small workout exercises to get in the mood of the day and activate my body. It helps me shape up the whole image of my weekend. In the afternoon, I check on my guys, my brothers but mostly my girlfriend...then we go to a nice place and have lunch together. Most of the time I invite my friends to my home place or some cool places in Kigali where we can go sit and chill, like KBC, and have a good time together. In the evening, my friends and I go for Karaoke nights. Then after, we go out clubbing at some of the popular clubs in Kigali like People Club. It is my favorite one. Sundays are for sports in the morning then in the afternoon I go with my friends to play basketball at Cercle Sportif de Kigali, then I go home and rest. I actually stay home on Sundays, most of the time before noon. My friends join me at home, then we chill, and watch movies sometimes. In the evenings at 4pm or 5pm we play basketball to keep our bodies in good shape. We work a lot and we have to do sports to keep ourselves healthy. But sometimes, when we don’t do sports, we go to Pili Pili and hang out, have some pizza, then have a good time. After that, I go home and prepare for Monday.
