I’ve been seeing this guy for about a year and it’s going really great, we get along and I have chosen to stop dating other people and just concentrate on him. There’s a catch though, he has a serious girlfriend. I always wanted to leave but he would promise that his relationship would be over soon. A year later, the relationship did eventually end, as me being the main reason.I’m happy now but my friends are warning me that this will be short-lived. Once a cheater, always a cheater they say. And I undersand them but I want to believe differently. What should I do? First of all, what were you doing dating someone who was two-timing his girlfriend? It doesn’t really make you sound like a woman who values herself. Everyone has the right to be the most important person in their mates life, but you obviously weren’t. While it seems that everything has ended positively, I must ask, what do you think he thinks of you? Not with a whole lot of respect. At the end of the day, you were the ‘chick on the side’. If he really, really wanted you, he would have broken up with his first girlfriend. He’s just using you for the time being.
