South African artistes Pcee and Justin99, who are among the best Amapiano musicians, have been announced as the main headliners of the next edition of Intore Sundays slated for May 28. It is after the event spent over eight months’ hiatus due to complaints of noise pollution that caused cancellation of several outdoor events in the past, organisers said. We were facing an issue with outdoor spaces that cause noise pollution which can lead to cancellation of our events. We are still trying to come up with a better solution. This edition was worth waiting for. It’s going down! Bruce Intore, the brains behind the event, told The New Times. Intore also added that the reason he targets South African artistes is because their sound is getting international and raving festivals around the world. Amapiano is the new trend and these artistes are some of the best DJs and musicians who are creating the best of this genre and exporting it to the world. They are good musicians and many Rwandans will love to party with him, he added. Intore Sundays is one of the most popular events, with Kigali’s middle class and expatriate community embracing it in equal measure. The event, which attracts many youth and used for both entertainment and networking platforms, will also see some of the best DJs in town such as Toxxyk, Tyga, Pyfo and others spin the decks. Tickets to the show are already available at Rwf10, 000 per person and Rwf300, 000 per section of six. The event will take place at Mundi Center (Rwandex) and revelers will be allowed to bring food and beverages of their own choice. Pcee, who is awaited in Kigali, is best known on his recent hit dubbed Kilimanjaro, which won hearts of many music lovers and attracted millions TikTok users after its dance challenge went viral.
