JOHANNESBURG, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Terminal buildings at the Lanseria Airport west of Johannesburg, South Africa, have been evacuated due to a bomb scare, airport officials said on Saturday.An “unattended bag was found” at one of the terminals at the airport, prompting the evacuation, according to unidentified officials.The bag was suspected of being loaded with explosives, they said.Passengers had been moved to the “fire and rescue shed” and incoming flights were “waiting on the runway”, according to tweets sent out by passengers.A bomb squad has arrived at the airport, according to eye witnesses.“As we were waiting, we were told that is a bomb scare as someone has left a bag attended since 1 p.m.,” eye witness Dudu Qubu told the Eyewitness News, a local news outlet.Police are on their way to the scene to investigate.
