Editor,After reading your story, “MPs question quality of education,” (The New Times, June, 21), I felt compelled to add my voice. I think there is an issue of training teachers. If Rwanda wants to improve the quality of its education system, teachers should be well trained and this must be consistent at all levels, from primary to the tertiary level. Furthermore, teachers need more incentives, especially those in public schools. They are not well taken care of, yet they are the ones working hard to offer Rwandan children a good education.MB
