Rukoma vs APRThe 2008 champions APR will be hoping for a crucial away win against Remera Rukoma to go top of the national women football league table standing for the first time this season, but will need rivals and defending champions AS Kigali to drops points against Bugesera.The army side has looked on in envy as their rivals-AS Kigali dominate the league with three consecutive league titles but coach Egidia Kayitesi thinks her team is still in the title chase.“They have had a steady team for the last few years but we will certainly push them to the very end this season,” Kayitesi said after taking the military side players through training drills yesterday morning.AS Kigali enjoy a two-point lead over APR with two games in hand but Kayitesi is defiant that the gap is not insurmountable.The league leaders host Bugesera at Kigali Regional stadium this afternoon while in other games; Imirasire take on Urumuri at Ngoma stadium.Bottom placed Urumuri which has just one solitary point take on Rambura in 9th position, Inyemera plays ESIR.Eleven clubs, including APR, Inyemera, Remera Rukoma, The Winners, Rambura, Nyarugenge, Imirasire, ESIR, AS Kigali, Bugesera, Les Lionness and the National University of Rwanda (NUR), are taking part in the six month league.
