R. Kelly R. Kelly was cleared of child pornography charges in 2008. New documents reveal that R. Kelly owes almost $5m (£3.2m) in unpaid taxes.The 45-year-old singer was forced to sell his Chicago mansion last year after it became the subject of a legal action over unpaid mortgage payments.However, despite paying a further $1m in back taxes last year, the singer still owes the U.S federal government more than $4.8 (£2.9) million, according to the documents.Kelly has not commented on the reports, but the Chicago Sun-Times claimed his spokesman had previously insisted that the star did not have money problems.The three-time Grammy award winner has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide.Earlier this year he was named by Billboard as the most successful R&B artist of the last 25 years.
