Book Review: A Perfect Stranger

A Perfect Stranger is a Danielle Steele romance novel, published in 1982.The story of the book is about Alexander Hale and Raphaella Phillips. Hale a divorced man takes a walk down the street, when he sees Phillips, a beautiful woman, crying on the steps of her house. Within the story it’s discovered that the woman seated on the steps name is Raphaella Phillips, who is married to an eighty- year-old man, who is very sick. Hale falls in love with Phillips, without knowing that the young Raphaella‘s husband is old and bedridden.When Alexander Hale see Raphaella sitting alone that cloudy evening, he is about to approach her, but she was instantly taken away. Making her the ‘perfect stranger’ he couldn’t forget. Although she does not want to leave her husband, Raphaella wishes not to stay closed away from the world with nothing to live for. Although she has no children and the loneliness she feels makes her want to abandon her marital home, she is tended to by servants with bodyguards all over the house.
