ON Friday the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) was busy as it recorded a very higher turnover compared to Thursday’s trading session. The total turnover for the day was Rwf402,268,300 from 3,218,000 BK shares and 2,000 Bralirwa shares traded in 22 deals compared to Thursday when the market turnover was Rwf3,295,100 from 6,200 BK shares and 7,500 Bralirwa shares traded in five deals.BK shares traded between Rwf122 and 125 and closed at Rwf125, registering an increase of Rwf2 while Bralirwa shares traded and closed at Rwf342, registering an increase of Rwf2. KCB and NMG shares last transacted at Rwf135 and Rwf1,200 respectively. At the end of formal trading hours, there was an outstanding offer of 6,500 BK shares at Rwf125 and no outstanding bid. On Bralirwa, there were outstanding bids of 86,800 shares between Rwf334 and 341 and no outstanding offer. Last week the market recorded a higher turnover compared to the previous week. The total turnover for the week was Rwf459,581,300 from 3,647,000 BK shares and 15,100 Bralirwa shares traded in 44 deals compared the previous week which recorded a turnover of Rwf411,039,700 from 3,306,000 BK shares and 7,000 Bralirwa shares traded in 26 deals.
