Editor,Not so many months ago, Kigali City Council issued a directive that required all minibus and commuter taxis to be relocated from main city centre and move down to Muhima near the ‘1930’ prison. It was a well calculated move because since then it has eased traffic congestion especially during peak hours.I remember in the past, during evening hours, it was chaotic to move quickly through Kwarubangura and UTC areas. I also commend the drivers for making this possible. Now, KCC should look into the issue of hawkers. They have become a problem especially in the evening. Every time they see law enforcers approaching, they start running away without caring about other people. To have orderly city, let us find solution to the hawkers. But we must also care about their living conditions.Tina UwitonzeKacyiru
