Taiba Mbonyumwami’s 72nd minute made the difference as the Rubavu-based side piled misery on Bugesera whose relegation battle looks more serious than anticipated and now waiting for their fate to be decided in their final two matches against Etincelles and AS Kigali. The defeat saw Bugesera drop to 14th place on the table and are just two points ahead of 15th placed Rutsiro who beat Sunrise 1-0 in an early fixture held at Umuganda Stadium. The result means that Vincent Mashami’s side has not registered a win in the last four games, having lost twice against Rayon Sports in the Peace Cup and Rutsiro in the league.
