Editor,I am writing to appeal to Rwandan police and law-abiding citizens to treat human traffickers as human murderers. It is absurd when someone gets to learn the things trafficked people are forced to do; just imagine a thirteen year old girl being turned into sex slavery, abused by mature men for the rest of her life.Such inhumane people should not be allowed to go scot free. I hope security agencies will heed to my appeal. I cannot bear the thought of my little children being forced into that kind of slavery.I thank the police for the job they have done so far to crackdown on suspected human traffickers; usually it is not an easy job, as other countries can attest.Considering the fact that Rwanda is now a member of the East African Community (EAC), the national police should use its partnership with other law-enforcing organs to ensure that no Rwandan is trafficked.Reuben MugaboKigali
