Reading makes life fun

Reading is the only entertainment that is also an essential life skill. Everyone needs to read anytime and anywhere. Children too need to read because it helps them to pass at school and have fun at home. When you read story books, you improve how you speak and write. You also learn the meaning of new words and about things that are happening in other parts of the world. You get to learn more from other people and this will help you to become open to new ideas.Reading also helps you improve your thinking ability. When you read more, it will help you keep your mind active even at an older age. I remember I had one uncle who was so found of reading and even when he was at 90 years old, he read very well and everybody knew him as a very intelligent man. Reading is so good because it helps you get better grades at school. Children, who read a lot, always know what to answer during an exam.Since the holidays are still here, do not just sit at home and watch television all day. Try as much as possible to read a page of a book everyday and continue doing so even when you start school. Reading can be fun too.
