Florien Siborurema and his APR Women’s volleyball team are in their final preparations ahead of the forthcoming women’s African Club Championships scheduled on May 13-26. The Rwandan champions are carrying out daily training drills at Notre Dame des Anges Primary School. APR finished sixth in last year’s edition held in Tunisia. The girls are again representing the country after they were crowned champions of the 2022/23 women’s national volleyball league. We are doing the final training and the players are doing fine. We leave for Tunisia on Friday where we will continue our training sessions until the tournament commences,” said Siborurema. While APR represents Rwanda in women’s category, Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will also be taking part in the men’s club championship.
