Editor,I read a touching story in The New Times of April, 5 by Yvonne Kayiteshonga, under the headline ‘Resilience vis-a-vis trauma’.It was about Keza, a female survivor of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Keza overcame the confrontation with “the reality of death”.I was both happy and moved as I read about little Keza’s bravery. It’s a construction that is worth all the monuments of the world. Thank you so much Ms Kayiteshonga for telling us this story. Keza gives us a big lesson.MukoraBordeaux Ms Yvonne Kayitenshonga’s account of the experience of Keza during the 1994 Genocide was touching in many ways. I also want to state that it’s admirable to see how the government has done its best to support Genocide survivors, each of whom with a scary story to tell. I wish all the survivors and Rwandans, in general, a brighter future.Agnes MukandoriKibagabaga
