Dear editor, I m intensely gratified by our parents in Rwanda for cultivating confidence in children. On many occasions I have witnessed children here in Rwanda, boldly talking and expressing their feelings, interests, courtesy of their parents harnessing that quality in them. The disposition of having confidence is a priceless composition, very relevant in all circles of human interaction. In some societies, children are not given the chance of expressing their views and interests; however this is fatal because it hampers their intellectual development not mentioning suppressing their egos that would be of subtle importance.
