EditorIn the recent past, I have read several stories in the media about continued cases of tax evasion, especially by traders. While Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) has done a lot to prevent tax evasion, it’s should be everybody’s responsibility to fight such a malpractice.Traders ought to understand that when RRA projects to collect a certain amount of revenue but fails due to tax evasion, it will affect the whole country.In effect, roads and other public facilities not take off be constructed, and there will be shortage of medicine in public hospitals.There is, therefore, need for all Rwandans to work together to stamp out tax evasion because it undermines our ambitions as a nation.
