A fifth ‘Mission: Impossible’ is very likely to happen, according to Viacom’s CEO.At the Paramount Pictures’ parent company’s annual shareholders meeting, CEO Philippe Dauman hinted that another film in the Tom Cruise action franchise will be made, according to The Hollywood Reporter. When Dauman was asked at the meeting in New York if there were “any plans to develop an additional sequel”, he replied: “Oh yes.”Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol was a huge success at the box office, becoming Tom Cruise’s highest-grossing movie to date.Cruise himself stated that he would be interested in making a fifth film, as long as the project’s standards remained high.The actor’s co-star Jeremy Renner recently denied that he would take over as the franchise’s lead character in future films.
