The national ladies’ volleyball team jetted out of the country yesterday morning to Nairobi were it’s scheduled to compete in its inaugural African Cup of Nations (CAN) volleyball competitions. The 15-man contingent who jetted out aboard a Rwandair Express plane included 12 players, team coach, assistant and physiotherapist. The team manager and an official from the local volleyball federation are expected to join the squad this morning shortly before the competition draws.
