Dear editor, Many thanks go to the Mayor of Kigali City for the tremendous work she is doing to help keep Kigali City clean. Indeed our city is clean, though these days the spirit is declining. I have come to learn that the polythene bags which were abandoned some time ago are still appearing in some parts of Kigali and its suburbs. This is serious..! I have a fear that if we do not keep up the spirit, Kigali city will decline in her cleanliness. If I may remember well we were promised paper like bags, which would work as substitutes for polythene bags. These paper bags should be availed so that they help in carrying peoples possessions. Strict measures should once again be set to seriously eliminate even the little polythene bags around the city and its suburbs. These new measures should not only be imposed in cities but also in provinces because the same issue also appears in villages. Let us fight together anything that can bring back dirt in our beautiful country. Kabeza
