Having the ability to make people laugh isn’t a simple thing. Virtually, every comedian has his/her own type of humor ranging from short witty jokes to funny stories but whatever their comedy is like, laughing at the jokes (unless they are not funny) is inevitable.Comedians and comedy lovers alike are often considered unserious but that doesn’t stop the comedy industry from thriving. Comic reality shows, standup comedy routines, funny movies are as common as breakfast today. Why comedy is the best relaxation ever:Laughter is a strong medicine for the body and mind. The most effective way to successfully school anyone about anything is through comedy. Sure Urunana, Kanyombya and other reality radio comedies have addressed family issues, sensitized against HIV /AIDS and anything else that we can think of however, it is the comedy that makes thrills the masses to take heed.Comedy goes beyond laughter and creates a wonderful bond for people. In fact, comedy is more contagious than flu or cough. Who wouldn’t feel at home in a laughing community anyway? Ever watched how strangers share laughter at those TV stand-up comedy shows? Recently, my ribs nearly cracked as I laughed at this Ugandan female comedian who cried out loud for being dumped yet she is Tanzanian {as if dumping comes with tribe}! The laughter was in unison with her NTV audience. There are higher chances of lifetime friendships developing from such events.Who would reject a humorous person anyway? Hilarious and entertaining people are hard to find. If TV, a bar or a movie can provide all the laughter needed in the world, then comedy is worth it. The only problem is that it takes talent and a massive sense of humor to be a comedian. I take my enthusiasm for comedy to another level because comedy is such a cool thing.
