Burera, Kisoro districts to contain drug trafficking
Officials from the districts of Burera (Rwanda) and Kisoro of Uganda have agreed to partner in cracking down on illicit drug traffickers along the common border, especially the locally brewed gin, Kanyanga, Chief Waragi and marijuana.
Several kilograms of marijuana and illicit alcohol ostensibly from Uganda have been destroyed in Burera District. Burera and Kisoro districts of Uganda will combat the illicit trade. The New Times / File
