Indian State Minister for External Affairs, Preneet Kaur, arrives today on a two-day visit.She is expected to hold discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Louise Mushikiwabo, on current joint ventures between the two countries as well as future projects.The two are also scheduled to sign four Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) that will guide future partnerships between the two countries.“The MoUs will be based on current cooperation and orientation for future cooperation between the government of the Republic of Rwanda and the Republic of India,” the ministry said in a statement.“MoUs on solar electrification of 35 schools in rural Rwanda and the establishment of renewable energy cooperation will be signed by the two ministers. They will also agree on the establishment of a Joint Permanent Commission as well as the establishment of a Vocational Training Centre”.Kaur is also scheduled to hold talks with the Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources Dr. Agnes Kalibata, after which she will meet the Indian community living in Rwanda.
