Valentines Day as we all know it, is the day when lovebirds come out and annoy us single people with their lovey dovey gibberish! I’m totally joking. For couples, romantic dinners whether out or in are usually the order of the day. Watching romantic movies is a good way to spend the day and it shouldn’t matter if you are alone or with someone. Here are some of the best;Sleepless in SeattleTom Hanks and Meg Ryan light up the screen in this 1993 romantic comedy directed by Nora Ephron. The film centers on a young architect Sam Baldwin (Hanks) who lost his wife to cancer. He and his son Jonah move to Seattle to start a new life but Sam still grieves the loss of his wife. Jonah, desperate to find his dad a new wife calls into a radio show and persuades his dad to talk to the host about how much he misses his wife. Women around the country are tuned in and touched by Sam’s story including Annie Reed (Ryan) a Baltimore Sun reporter. Annie believes that Sam is her soul mate and is convinced that it is her destiny to meet Sam. There are just two minor problems; 1. She is engaged to another man whom she actually loves and 2.
