Ugandan attacker Joackim Ojera has said that he doesn’t know yet whether he will will stay at Rayon Sports as his future at the club looks uncertain. Ojera joined Rayon Sports in January 2023 on a six month loan deal from Ugandan Premier League side URA FC and he has so far impressed in his short spell, scoring three goals besides winning the club's player of the month award for February. Rayon have an option to sign him permanently in June but, as things stand, he insists he has no idea if he will sign a contract extension or return to his parent club. I can't say whether I will stay at Rayon Sports or leave because I don't know their plans, he said. Ojera has been among exciting players in the second round of the Rwandan Premier League but the Blues haven’t shown yet any intention of tying him down to extend his stay.
